Quite amazed at the latest opinion poll but still pretty frustrated by the fact that many are permanent servants to the soldiers of destiny, who will happily return to their blinkered stupidity as soon as the current hoo haa dies down.
I for one, as a sworn lifetime enemy of what I simply cannot see as anything but the grandson of an Irish manifestation of the 1920s fascist movement, am concerned that this simply is not enough to show the Irish populace the truth; that this is a party that serves nothing but it's own selfish group and individual ends, feathering it's own cap both politically and financially.
To me it is of no coincidence or surprise that their estranged cousins in SF are mysteriously all turning out to be terribly wealthy people. They are nothing more than the same ilk, waiting backstage for their day, as one day it will indeed come south of the border unless there is a sea of change.
I think a critical issue in this budget was IRS total lack of thought, strategy and planning. I suspect a large part of this is due to bringing it forward. To me it also suggests that the only people running the country are civil servants whose normal planning was put too far ahead to be effective.
